Kundra presented Shetty with keys to the flat after throwing her a lavish party on June 8, following the former Celebrity Big Brother winner's several comments of her desire to own a property in the UK.
"After the IPL ended, Raj took Shilpa on a two-week holiday to London just to unwind," a source close to Shetty said.
"She stayed on till her birthday. It was after the bash that Raj handed her the keys of a duplex penthouse apartment in South Kensington, one of the most posh localities in central London."
