Emraan Hashmi, who stars alongside Soha Ali Khan in the film, denied reports that a scheduling conflict was behind the delay and insisted that the crew is ready to resume filming as soon as the rains begin.
Hashmi told IANS: "None of us have a date excuse this time around. We are willing to shoot for the film but just can't do that.Thankfully, this time around the culprit is none other than the rain god himself.
"Kunal is very particular about these scenes especially and is quite positive that actual rains will only elevate the proceedings. Since these are meant to be outdoor shots, it would look fake if we shoot with artificial rain."
Tum Mile, which is set during the 2005 Mumbai floods, is scheduled for release on September 25.
