After falling out with Arshad Warsi, Khana has refused to attend any promotional event he was present at, reports DNA.
A source told the newspaper: "That a film has to be promoted is clearly stated in the contract of the actors.
"If an actor is not doing that then he is obviously not honouring the contract. So, Anil reminded him of that clause and told him that it is also Akshaye's responsibility to promote the film."
Producer Kapoor added that he keeps in touch with the actors working on his movies and gives them guidance until the production's release.
