Ghai confirms 'Paying Guests 2'

Producer Subhash Ghai has announced a sequel to Paying Guests after the comedy proved a hit at the box office.

Ghai made the decision following a Mumbai screening and immediately contacted the film's director, Paritosh Painter.

He told Sampurn: "On arriving in Mumbai, I caught a show at an Andheri multiplex on Monday. I was gauging the audience's reaction. They were enjoying themselves. From the theatre itself, I called Paritosh up and told him to go ahead with Paying Guests 2."

Paying Guests stars Celina Jaitley, Shreyas Talpade and Jaaved Jaafri.

The film's sequel is expected to start shooting in September ahead of being released next year.
