Sanjay Dutt will release an unprecedented three films on the Hindu festival day of Diwali.
According to the Mumbai Mirror, the three features starring Dutt have all been scheduled to open on October 16.
A source said: "There have been times when two films of the same actor have released at the same time. It’s probably for the first time that an actor will have three releases on the same day.
"But all three films are different. Blue is a 100-crore spectacular with a number of underwater stunts. All The Best is a laugh riot, while Aladin is a fantasy."
Shree Ashtavinayak, the producer of action film Blue, commented: "We are aware of the other two releases, but we are surely releasing the movie on October 16. We can’t change that. We are very confident of what we have made. Blue is our biggest film to date.
"The films are different and we hope that all of them do well at the box office."
