Industry cheers landmark ruling for gay rights

Homosexuality has been a big theme in recent Bollywood hits, including Priyanka Chopra’s Fashion and box-office hit Dostana, co-starring Abishek Bachchan and John Abraham.
Actress and gay rights campaigner Celina Jaitley said: "With great pride and tears I would like to congratulate the entire LGBT community.
"Homosexuality is now legal in India. Our long battle is won and with pride can the gay walk with their heads held high."
In an interview with The Times Of India, directors and actors commented positively on the ruling.
Among them, actress Raveena Tandon said: "It’s absolutely fantastic! People will now be encouraged to come out of the closet. Now it will truly be equal rights to all and everyone shall have the freedom of choice to life in the true sense!"
