The Soham Shah-directed movie will see Kamal's daughter act alongside established names including Sanjay Dutt, Mithun Chakraborty and Imran Khan, reports Total Filmy.
"I've known Imran for years now but in a working environment, it really doesn't matter who you do or don't know," Shruti said of her co-star.
"Having said that, I would say though that he was a very nice co-star and he was easy to work with."
She revealed that the picture is about "human gambling", adding that she is most excited about her action sequence which sees her swimming with sharks.
"I would be absolutely lying if I say I was fine with it."
