Dhupia, who starred in 2008 blockbuster Singh Is Kinng, shot opposite actors such as Keanu Reeves and Drew Barrymore for the parody of the Indian film industry.
Describing the show, she told PTI: "Its spoofy and comical. It also has elements like how talent does not always get priority in showbiz."
Bollywood Hero, which was filmed in Mumbai and Los Angeles, will premiere in the US on August 6.
