Priyamani to debut in 'Ravaan'

Southern Indian actress Priyamani will make her Bollywood debut in Ravaan alongside Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Abhishek Bachchan will co-star in the Hindi film, while Kerala-born Priyamani also will feature in the Tamil version.

Priyamani, the cousin of Vidya Balan, said: "I didn't know that I would be a part of the Hindi film until the costume designer came to take my measurements for two sets of costumes.

"He said he had been instructed to take measurements for both the Tamil and Hindi versions of the film... I wear different dresses in them."

The actress, who has previously studied psychology, won the National Film Award for her role in Paruthi Veeran and a Filmfare South Award for Thirakkatha.
