If the Bollywood superstar signs up to the project, which will reportedly also involve Keanu Reeves and Gary Oldman, he will portray the character as a superhero who can fly over mountains and skyscrapers.
Speaking to IANS, executive producer Pradeep Guha confirmed: "He has been approached. But Aamir will decide after he reads the script."
A source claimed that Khan is looking to sign every page of the script to ensure that no changes happen during production.
Hanuman, which will be helmed by The Scorpion King director Chuck Russell, is expected to begin shooting on location in Rajasthan by the end of the year.
