Meera has described theft and intimidation charges filed against her as "lies and fraud".
The Pakistani actress rejected the complaint filed by Atiqur Rahman and also denied claims that the pair had married in 2007.
Last week, Rahman had accused Meera of threatening to have him killed and stealing his belongings.
Meera, who is best known for starring in Mukhesh Bhatt's Nazar, recently claimed that she believes the accusations are being orchestrated by an unnamed Indian film director.
