The 43-year-old revealed that he had absolute faith in the film's script as soon as he read it for the first time.
He told AFP: "It has all the ingredients of a Bollywood potboiler. When I read the script, I was 100% [sure] that it will click."
Wanted, which also stars Om Puri, is scheduled for release this Friday.
