Kaif up for Indian version of 'Alice'

The Namastey London actress is among several Bollywood actresses mooted to star in the Shashanka Ghosh update of the children's novel.
Sonam Kapoor is also being considered for the role.
According to New Kerala, the update will feature a character based on the novelist Lewis Carroll. Ghosh is reportedly aiming to rival the effects seen in films such as Lord Of The Rings and Harry Potter.
The director is best known for his cult film Quick Gun Murugun, an Indian spaghetti western.
