The Pretty Woman actress met with Saif Ali Khan's mother, the Bollywood legend Sharmila Tagore, before asking whether she could be introduced to Khan's girlfriend Kapoor.
A source told The Times of India: "Bebo [Kapoor] is as keen as Julia to make this dinner happen. Ever since she signed Stepmom she’s been keen to interact closely with Julia."
It is reported that they will arrange a dinner at Khan's family home in Pataudi, India.
Karan Johar's version of the comedy drama will co-star John Abraham and Kajol.
