Ahuja, who was being held at Arthur Road Jail on a sexual assault charge, is now receiving treatment for a slipped disc at J J Hospital in Mumbai.
The 36-year-old actor was presented before court last week but broke down due to the pain from his condition.
Ahuja, who is scheduled to go before court again on October 7, was arrested on June 15 for allegedly raping his maid.
