Julia Roberts staying with Saif

Saif Ali Khan has welcomed Julia Roberts into his ancestral home in Pataudi while she shoots Eat, Pray, Love in India.

The Pretty Woman star recently met Khan's mother Sharmila Tagore and is reportedly keen to meet his girlfriend Kareena Kapoor, who is remaking Roberts's Stepmom.

Bollywood legend Tagore told Bollywood Hungama: "Julia Roberts is our guest. She's staying in a part of our property.

"We've let the unit stay in a flank because she's a colleague and I know what it is like to shoot far away from home."

Khan's home is also being used as a location in Roberts's movie. The actor descends from nobles and the family palace has proved a popular location for film shoots.

Tagore added: "We're staying in the main palace. They are staying in a separate part of the royal property known as the Nafeez Manzil.

"After Pataudi, they'll be shooting in Italy and Malaysia. In the past, Aamir Khan shot and stayed with us for The Rising. Deepa Mehta shot Earth in Pataudi, though that portion was edited out."
