Hema Malin has said that her new film Tell Me Oh Khuda will not be a remake of Mamma Mia!.
The actress-turned-producer has cast her daughter Esha Deol in the lead role of a girl searching for her father.
A source told the Mumbai Mirror: "Hema has taken a long time to put this project in place.
"Besides Vinod Khanna and Rishi Kapoor, another prominent actor will soon be added to the film’s cast.
"Although the story is different from Mamma Mia!, people may still think that it is based on the Hollywood musical."
They added: "Hema might be part of the film. She is not yet sure whether she wants to only produce it or also act."
