Kareena excited by Kajol reunion

Kareena Kapoor has revealed that she is eager to work with Kajol again on an upcoming Bollywood remake of Stepmom.

Kapoor, who is currently shooting Kurbaan opposite her boyfriend Saif Ali Khan, claimed that Siddharth Malhotra's adaptation gives her the chance to learn from the 34-year-old actress when filming begins later this month.

She told IANS: "She's always been one of my favourite actresses. We worked together in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. But this is something else.

"The desi version of Stepmom is very different from the original. My role is also a big departure from what Julia Roberts played in Stepmom."

Stepmom, released in 1998, was directed by Chris Columbus and also starred Susan Sarandon.
