Irani to play 'Hugh Hefner' role

Boman Irani has agreed to play an Indian version of Hugh Hefner in Fruit and Nut.

Irani will take on the role of Harry Holkar, who leads a similar lifestyle to the Playboy magazine founder.

The 47-year-old actor said in a statement: "There are different shades to the character but it is one of the funniest characters I have ever played. It's weirdly funny."

Irani was most recently seen in Kambakkht Ishq, which also starred Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor.
