Three actresses have been named as the favourites to play the lead in the Bollywood version of Alice in Wonderland.
Director Shashanka Ghosh told India Times Movies that he would like either Katrina Kaif, Soha Ali Khan or Sonam Kapoor to portray the role of Alice.
"She should be someone sexy. But she has to pull off a child's bewilderment," he said.
Ghosh added that the story's world will be an "Indianised" adaptation of the Lewis Carroll novel.
"It's not based on Alice in Wonderland. It's a straight adaptation," he explained. "But it is going to be a completely Indianised version of Alice in Wonderland named Alisha."
