Akshay Kumar has insisted that he is unconcerned by media criticism of his latest film Blue.

Kumar acknowledged that Anthony D'Souza's thriller, which was released last Friday, had been slated by many critics but claimed that film could still be a success at the box office.

He told NDTV: "Critics haven't liked it; some have, some haven't but every individual has its own liking or disliking."

Meanwhile, All The Best star Ajay Devgan revealed that he was pleased that the film had received a positive reception since opening last week.

Devgan, who also produced the film, said: "It was a little surprising but we also knew somewhere that people will like it. Usually comedies these days have double meaning, which critics do not like. This was one comedy which was kept completely clean so that every generation can enjoy it."
