Critics slam Kylie's Bollywood debut

Kylie Minogue's Bollywood debut has been panned by critics.

The singer's appearance in Blue, which opened in India on Friday, was described by one commentator as "as sexy as a fat housewife in a kaftan".

"She doesn't look good or even sound good," said critic Anil Verma.

Reports suggest that Minogue, 41, was paid around £670,000 to star in the underwater action film, the most expensive ever made in Bollywood.

The popstar performed dance number 'Chiggy Wiggy' in the movie, which was intended to appeal to Western audiences.
