Gupte completes work on 17 scripts

Bollywood screenwriter Amol Gupte has announced that he has finished work on scripts for 17 projects.
Gupte, who is best known for writing Taare Zameen Par, said that he hopes his next film Stanley Ka Dabba will be released by mid-2010.
He told IANS: "I have 17 locked scripts with me. I have written and completed them all. Some of them are Happy Diwali, Underbelly and Stanley Ka Dabba, which is my next."
Gupte also confirmed that he has begun work on his directorial debut Sapno Ko Ginte Ginte.
He added: "I have started directing it. I won't like to reveal anything about the film except that I am also acting in it to give it some value with a few actors from the industry."
