Danny Boyle approaches Aamir Khan

Slumdog Millionaire director Danny Boyle has revealed that he is in talks with Aamir Khan over a new film.

Boyle, who is currently in Mumbai, declared that he rates the Bollywood superstar highly both as an actor and a person.

He told NDTV: "It's a fantastic script and I have had a meeting with Anurag Kashyap and Aamir Khan. I don't think Aamir is definite for it yet, but he is obviously perfect for the role.

"I have met Aamir before and I think he is unbelievable and a very special person."

Boyle also added that he hopes to shoot another film set in Mumbai in the near future.
