Gauhar Khan has revealed that she almost drowned when she was young.
The actress said that she is still scared of water after she fell into a lake while on a boating trip with her family, according to New Karala.
"I have a phobia against water and I can't swim. It's my biggest fear. Had the person who owned the boat [not] jumped in to save me I would not be existing today. I am just so very grateful to that guy for saving me," she said.
Khan, who will make her Bollywood debut in Rocket Singh - Salesman Of The Year, also claimed that she was teased after her mother shaved off all her hair when she was 6.
"I was made to wear a hat, due to which I was ridiculed at school. Even while walking or playing in the park people would lift my hat just to catch a glimpse of my bald head," she said. "I hated my mum then but I guess her efforts paid off and today I am blessed with beautiful hair. So I just want to thank my mum for it."
