Shilpa Shetty triumphs at tribunal
Published Tuesday, Nov 3 2009, 17:07 GMT | By Will Astbury

Jamal Hirani, the former CEO of the V8 Gourmet Group chain, had filed a £1.5m lawsuit against the actress's company claiming unfair dismissal.
"I am pleased with the tribunal's decision which was never in doubt in Raj's and my mind," Express India quotes Shetty as saying.
It was held that V8 had "reasonable and proper cause" to sack Hirani and that it would only have to reimburse him holiday pay, which it had previously agreed to do.
"We are delighted to hear the verdict, which vindicates Shilpa, V8 Gourmet group and my brother Andy and me. Truth and justice have prevailed and we are very pleased with the outcome," added V8 managing director Arjun Varma.
