Vidya Balan 'falls during filming'

Vidya Balan escaped injury after falling over while shooting a scene for her new movie Paa.

The actress was carrying a child actor on her shoulders during the shot but could not cope with his weight, according to New Karala.

"In a scene, Vidya had to shoot with a child who is playing the younger version of Amitabh Bachchan in Paa. The scene required Vidya to carry him on her shoulders," revealed a source.

"Vidya weighs 45kg and so did the boy. Vidya carried him on her shoulders nevertheless. Suddenly there was this loud thud and people saw that she had lost balance and fallen on the ground along with the boy. The actress still completed the shot."

Paa, which is due for release on December 4, also stars Abhishek Bachchan.
