Actress Simple Kapadia dies, aged 51

Simple Kapadia has died after battling with cancer for three years.
The actress and designer passed away yesterday on her 51st birthday with her sister Dimple by her side. Her funeral took place today.
"Apart from her family members Dimple, Twinkle, Rinkie and Akshay Kumar, other friends like Sunny Deol, Sajid Khan, Honey Irani, Vipul Shah and Rahul Dholakia were also present at the funeral," a source told New Karala.
Kapadia, who made her debut in Anurodh, appeared in more than 20 movies and is best known for her dance in Lootmaar.
The star, who never married, retired from acting in 1986 to become a clothes designer and won a national award for 'Best Costume Design' for Rudaali.
