Kapoor, Khan honoured at Cairo festival

Anil Kapoor and Irrfan Khan are to receive awards at the 33rd Cairo International Film Festival.

According to New Kerala, the actors will be honoured alongside Oscar-winning Hollywood stars at the annual event (CIFF).

This year's CIFF has an Indian theme and will be showing around 25 Bollywood movies.

The festival opened on Tuesday with a screening of Kabir Khan's New York, which stars Irrfan Khan alongside John Abraham, Katrina Kaif and Neil Nitin Mukesh.

Reports suggest that Samuel L. Jackson and Lucy Liu will also be attending the event.
