Akshay Kumar made Olympic ambassador

The actor, who is also a martial artist, will be the only star representing Bollywood at the games, which are to take place in Canada.
"At a high power and exclusive lunch for 50 CEO's of prominent tourism companies, the Canadian PM will introduce Akshay Kumar as the sole torch bearer from India for the Olympics. The Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC) will bring the Olympic Torch to the luncheon," a source told Glam Sham.
Kumar was previously a brand ambassador at the Paralympics and has also been awarded the katana - the highest Japanese martial arts honour.
Only 15 international celebrities have been invited to Canada to participate in the Olympic Torch-carrying ceremony in Ontario.
