Kaif returns for 'Singh Is Kinng' sequel

Katrina Kaif will return for the sequel to the gangster thriller Singh Is Kinng.

The follow-up will go into production in spring 2010, two years after the first film.

Director Vipul Shah told the Mumbai Mirror: "We have written the script keeping Akshay [Kumar] and Katrina in mind. Singh Is Kinng cannot be made without both the actors.

"I think even the audience wants to see the two of them together again."

A source added: "Vipul has already zeroed in on an idea and the script is in the finishing stages.

"The film will be made on a larger scale than the earlier one."
