Brett Ratner has said that he is editing Kites to fit in with the Western psyche.

The American director reportedly made two versions of the romantic thriller and while the domestic Indian edition is complete, the international English-speaking account is still being tweaked.

According to Express India, the two versions of the movie were shot simultaneously in Hindi and English on location in Las Vegas, New Mexico and Los Angeles.

Kites is a cross-cultural love story which stars Hrithik Roshan, Mexican actress Barbara Mori, Kangana Ranaut, Nicholas Browna and Kabir Bedi.
