Jacqueline Fernandez may be replaced by a different actress in a new film co-starring John Abraham.
While Fernandez was previously confirmed to star in the film, director Sabal Shekhawat has now reportedly decided to look at other options.
A source told the Mumbai Mirror: "Sabal’s film is a thriller and requires a glamorous and sporty actress.
"Jacqueline was finalised for this untitled film before Aladin was released.
"At that time, Sabal was still in the scripting process and thought that she was suitable for the role. John too thought that she was the right choice."
Shekhawat denied that it has anything to do with Fernandez's age, citing financial reasons instead.
He told the newspaper: "On the contrary, we are looking for an older face."
