'Action Relay' may be postponed

Aishwarya Rai's latest film Action Replay may have been held back because promoters fear that audiences are tired of her co-star Akshay Kumar.

The feature was due for release in April 2010, clashing with another Kumar feature called Houseful.

Director Vipul Shah told Express India: "We will look at the market condition and then bring in Action Replay. There is no hurry and neither am I restricted from any quarters."

The story is reportedly based on The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, with Kumar and Rai-Bachchan taken on the Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett roles.

According to the website, Shah's London Dreams may have flopped because it coincided with five other big releases starring Kumar.
