The actor is urging Indian leaders to push for a fair deal on climate change, and said that richer countries should be held responsible for their actions.
"The essential issue on the climate change debate is one of morals, ethics and justice. If a group of people are responsible for 90% of the damage to a house, surely when it comes to the cost of repairs they should volunteer to pay 90% of the expenses," Bose, a brand ambassador for Oxfam India, told Mid Day.
"Now is not the time for developing countries to budge from this stance - a stance well articulated in the Kyoto Protocol. Indian leaders should remember that future generations are watching them closely."
Bose has joined other celebrities, including Helena Christensen and Helen Baxendale, in Copenhagen to make his points heard.
