Shetty eyes Westminster for wedding party

Shilpa Shetty is reportedly planning a reception at the House of Commons to celebrate her recent wedding.

The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant tied the knot to jewellery tycoon Raj Kundra in Mumbai in November. Shetty, who lives with Kundra in Surrey, is apparently thrilled to be holding her UK celebrations at the iconic British location.

A source told the Sunday Mirror: "Shilpa's having a ceremony in India too but the British celebrations are going to be big and they've spent a lot of money ­organising a grand affair."

The actress pledged to "excel as a homemaker" following her wedding, adding: "I shall strive to be as successful at home as I am outside."
