Bachchan to be in Rushdie film?

The Bollywood star is likely to co-star in the film with his son Abhishek Bachchan, whom he recently worked with in Paa.
Bachchan told Mumbai Mirror: "Yes we have met. I am looking at the script.”
The film will be directed by Deepa Mehta, who told the newspaper that the novelist had eyed Bachchan for the main role in an adaptation of the magical realist novel.
Midnight's Children won the the Booker of Bookers in 1993 and the Best of the Booker in 2008, celebrating the literature award's 25th and 40th anniversaries.
