Dixit chosen for judge role over Rai

TV bosses have decided to appoint Madhuri Dixit as the new judge of Dance Premier League instead of Aishwarya Rai.

According to The New Nation, the actresses had both applied for the role of judge but Dixit was chosen because she is a more accomplished dancer than Rai.

However, reports suggest that Dixit may have been chosen because she asked for less money for her part in the competition.

Dance Premier League's head of marketing Danish Khan said: "I don't want to talk abut the money involved but Madhuri is absolutely on board for Dance Premier League."
