Lucy Liu makes directorial debut in India

Lucy Liu will make her directorial debut with a film about Mumbai, Real Bollywood has revealed.

The Charlie's Angels and Kill Bill star has reportedly agreed to team up with Meryl Streep, Angelina Jolie and another unknown Hollywood actress to direct a currently untitled four-segment, all-women feature film.

Reports suggest that Liu has cast Bengali actress Tannishtha Chatterjee as the star of her film.

When asked about working with Liu, Chatterjee, who starred in Sarah Gavron's Brick Lane, said: "Where did you hear about this?

"At the moment I'm not supposed to talk about this project at all. If a word comes out of me I’ll be guilty of breach of contract. So let’s just say, I love Lucy."
