Raveena Tandon has said that she is making two serious new films in order to lose her frothy image.

The 35-year old actress, who left the industry to raise her children, is currently filming a 'woman-oriented' film and a bilingual movie about an uneducated woman who is left to salvage her scientist husband's reputation after his death.

She told IANS: "At times there are glamorous roles that you want to be associated with and there are times when you want to be part of strong films like Shool and Satta [that] are equally important."

Tandon made her breakthrough in masala films such as Mohra and Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi before winning critical recognition for her work in Indian 'arthouse' cinema.
