According to Mid Day, the actor asked director Farah Khan to remake 'Tere Mast Mast Do Naina' because he did not like choreographer Sabina Khan's dance sequences.
Salman reportedly asked original Dabanng director Abhinav Kashyap if Farah could do her own version of the song.
"Salman and Sonakshi have shot for the song. It's a romantic number shot against a village backdrop. However, Salman wanted it to be a lavish love song with high production values," said a source.
"Director Abhinav Kashyap agreed with Salman after watching the song and has decided to reshoot it."
