Uday Chopra is reportedly depressed after Pyaar Impossible bombed at the box office.
The actor, who also produced the film, apparently flew to the US after its failure and stayed there for over a month, without contacting friends.
Since his return to India, he has only been seen at a party held by Shah Rukh Khan's wife for the singer Akon.
A source told Mumbai Mirror: "That was his first social visit after Pyaar Impossible hit the theatres and fell flat on its face.
"Though [the production company] has been known to take flops in its stride, the Pyaar Impossible disaster was a bit too much for Uday.
"It must be noted that Priyanka [Chopra] charged a bomb to act with him, which only added salt to the wounds."
Uday is primarily known for his work behind the camera as an assistant director and producer.
