Ritiesh Deshmukh denies Fernandes link

Ritiesh Deshmukh has denied reports that have romantically linked him with Housefull co-star Jacqueline Fernandes.

The actor, who is rumoured to be going out with Genelia D'Souza, said that he and the former Miss Sri Lanka are just friends.

"I am not bothered by gossip. I am very fond of Jacqueline as she's a very nice girl," Mid Day quotes Deshmukh as saying.

"She is just a good friend. If we have been spotted having coffee together Sujoy [Ghosh] and Vishal-Shekhar have been with us."

However, the pair were spotted sitting together at the front of the recent Filmfare Awards ceremony while D'Souza sat at the back.

"We sat together during the Filmfare Awards as we were to walk the red carpet together but because of lack of time, that was scrapped," said Deshmukh.

Fernandes has worked with Deshmukh on a number of films including Aladdin, Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai and most recently Housefull.
