Salman Khan to act with Padukone?

Salman Khan is reportedly keen to work with actress Deepika Padukone on his next film.

According to The Times of India, the 40-year-old Bollywood legend first spotted 20-year old Padukone when she was starring opposite rival Shah Rukh Khan in Om Shanti Om.

Reports say that director Anees Bazmee, who was behind the massive hit Singh is Kinng, will cast the two together.

Though the former model has said she is unaware of the new rumours, sources close to Khan told the newspaper that he is set on making a film with her.

However, last month, Padukone disclosed that previous plans to work with Khan had fallen through and they had no shared projects in the pipeline, despite her desire to work with him.

Speaking to reporters, she said: "We were supposed to be paired up much earlier but then a couple of films didn't quite work out.

"That's sad but I am sure that in near future, we would be paired opposite each other."
