Sushmita Sen 'is dating Wasim Akram'

Sushmita Sen has begun dating Wasim Akram, according to Mid Day.

It has been suggested that the actress and the former Pakistan cricket captain, who appeared together on dance-based reality show Ek Khiladi Ek Hasina in 2008, are in an romantic relationship because they have been spotted together in public several times.

The duo were reportedly seen bonding at Shah Rukh Khan's house party, over dinner at a Bandra restobar, and then at Sen's friend Candice Pinto's birthday party.

Apparently Sen first met Akram at a charity event in Dubai in 2006 and they have remained close ever since.

A source also said that Akram only agreed to appear on Ek Khiladi Ek Hasina because of Sen.

"It was first offered to her, and she insisted that they take Wasim as the other judge. Their chemistry was natural and he loved flirting with her even on camera," they said.

"Apart from their love of cricket, they also share a love for Urdu poetry. During the shoot of Ek Khiladi Ek Hasina, Wasim would read out couplets to her during breaks and keep her entertained."
