Katrina Kaif 'quits Khamoshi over Chopra'

Katrina Kaif has decided to quit Khamoshi because she did not want to share the limelight with Priyanka Chopra, according to Mid Day.

Earlier reports suggested that the actress had reservations about starring alongside Chopra as she had rejected a role in Rockstar because director Anurag Basu promised her the lead part.

Kaif, who is apparently being replaced by Asin Thottumkal, also reportedly decided to opt out of Khamoshi because she has acquired the rights to remake a French film which she wants to produce.

"Priyanka has the best role in the film, and Kat wasn't thrilled to share the screen with her," a source revealed.

"She would rather do a solo project or at least get a better role. Asin was thrilled to step into her shoes, since she's having a hard time getting big films."
