Motwane debut film features at Cannes

Vikramaditya Motwane's movie is to be shown at the Cannes Film Festival.
The debutant director's project Udaan will be the only Indian film shown at this year's event, which is being held from May 12 to 23.
Udaan apparently features famous TV actors Ronit Roy and Ram Kapoor, and is set in Jamshedpur, Bihar.
The film, which has been produced by Anurag Kashyap and Sanjay Singh, will be screened in the Un Certain Regard Section of the festival.
Motwane was previously known as one of the co-writers of Dev D and for working as assistant to director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
