Abraham 'refuses to sport tash for part'

John Abraham has refused to grow a moustache for his new film, according to Mid Day.

The actor was apparently asked to grow some facial hair by producer Vipul Shah but was reluctant because he does not think a moustache will suit him.

"During one of the creative meetings, the idea to have a moustache came up. But John quickly booted the concept suggesting they come up with other options," a source claimed.

The film, which also stars Asin Thottumkal, is a remake of Tamil hit Kaakha Kaakha, which saw lead actors Surya and Venkatesh sport whiskers.

Shah said: "We are having a look test soon. We will finalise the look after that."
