Aishwarya Rai and Akshay Kumar will pay a musical tribute to Bollywood's best-loved film couples in their next feature.

According to The Times of India, Rai and Kumar will sing a song which name-checks numerous classic on-screen romances.

One of the actresses mentioned is Kumar's mother-in-law Dimple Kapadia, who starred with Rishi Kapoor in the 1970s romance Bobby.

The star is married to Kapadia's daughter Twinkle Khanna.

A source told the newspaper: "The film-maker is currently seeking permission to shoot the song in Gulmarg where the song was shot in the '70s. Yes, the same cabin is now a tourist attraction. And [director Vipul Shah] is very excited about shooting here with Ash playing Bobby."

The film Action Replay is reportedly inspired by Brad Pitt's The Curious Tale of Benjamin Button.
