Punit Malhotra has revealed that he spiked Imran Khan's drink so he would agree to film a particular scene in I Hate Luv Storys.
The director said that Khan was apprehensive about doing a sexy dance in a scene in which he is meant to be tipsy, so he added extra alcohol to his drink.
"Imran was sceptical about dancing closely with some girls. He kept asking if I could do away with it," Malhotra told Mid Day.
"I somehow managed to get Imran quite drunk during the shoot. Both Imran and Bruna (Abdullah) were to have drinks, but I put more alcohol in Imran's drink and by the end of the night, he was actually slurring.
"I got the footage I required. I think I am an expert at getting work done by hook or crook."
I Hate Luv Storys also stars Sonam Kapoor and Sammir Dattani.
